We will do all of the provision of emergency contraception kits (they include a dose of emergency contraception, pregnancy test, condoms, and lube). All that you need to do is to have the EC kits available at your organization/business. 

As for a timeline, we are currently organizing partners to distribute EC Kits. The first drop of EC kits will be coming in the next couple of weeks, but won’t happen immediately.

Be willing to provide the EC kits to folks without them having to make a purchase at your organization. 

Be able to keep the EC kits in an environment that is between 68 and 77 degrees Fareinheight (it keeps the EC most effective). However, for transport they can be kept between 59 and 86. 

We would also love that you would be willing to be listed publicly as an EC 4 DC distribution site on our website and in promotional materials. 

Providing EC is legal everywhere in the United States, without age requirements, and without ID. There are also many other organizations and businesses that distribute free EC throughout the United States. Some of them include ARC Southeast’s Outposts and Florida Justice Advocacy Network among others!

Is there anything our staff need to know about EC - the short answer is no. We provide information in every EC 4 DC packet so your staff can direct folks to that. However, if they are interested in learning more we are happy to provide additional information and/or host a training and Q&A session for your staff.
